KAILASH-MANASAROVAR BY BUS 14 Days
DAY 01 ARRIVAL KATHMANDU
Arrive Kathmandu International Airport. Our Tour Officer will greet & transfer you to the Hotel. After dinner you will be met by our Nepali Guide for briefing of Mt.Kailash.
DAY 02 SIGHTSEEING TOUR
After breakfast visit Pashupatinath Temple , Budhanilkantha Temple (sleeping Bishnu ) Kathmandu to Kodari by private Bus (normal): 115 km (4 & half hours drive).
DAY 03 KATHMANDU - KODARI, CROSS BORDER & DRIVE TO NYALAM (3750 m.)
Early breakfast in Kodari, then you take a short walk through Friendship Bridge for immigration check & cross the border. Meet our Tibetan guide in the immigration section, who will escort you to & fro Kailash throughout the Yatra. Complete immigration formalities then drive towards Nyalam.
DAY 04 REST & ACCLIMATIZATION IN NYALAM.
Free day for acclimatization, take a short hike up the nearby hill in the morning for breathing & fitness purpose, It will help you to be acclimatized in new atmosphere.
DAY 05 DRIVE, NYALAM TO DONGBA (4500 m.)
After breakfast, drive to New Drongba, en route we will be passing through Lablung-La Pass (5100 m) & lake Peiku Tso crossing over the Bridge of River Bramhaputra in Saga. Picnic lunch will be served on the way. Continue the journey to New Drongba for night halt.
DAY 06 DRIVE NEW DONGBA TO LAKE MANSASAROVAR (4550 m.)
The most Auspicious & Awaited life time achievement day of this journey, you are going
to reach holy Lake "Manasarovar". Full moon falls on this day. One can have the first glimpse
of Mt. Kailash if weather permits. The Ultimate goal of one’s life!!!!!!!!
On the way, you will be crossing through the highest motor-able pass of this journey
(Mayum- La; 5200 m.). CHU GOMPA SIDE
Picnic lunch will be served somewhere near Horchu River, before Mayum-La pass.
DAY 07 LAKE MANASAROVAR PARIKRAMA - THEN DRIVE TO DARCHEN (4664 m)
Morning after breakfast, drive to Darchen, you will be driven around Lake
Manasarovar (clockwise) doing the first half parikrama then continue on to Darchen.
After keeping your luggage in the guesthouse, one can take rest or visit Aasthapad
(where you can have a spectacular view of Mt. Kailash, Nandi Parvat & Aasthapad together).
DAY 08 DRIVE, DARCHEN TO YAMA DWAR THEN START PARIKRAMA TO DHIRAPUK (4920 m.)
Morning after breakfast, drive to Yama Dwar (15 minutes drive). From Yama Dwar,
you will start your first day of trekking to Dhirapuk (north face of Kailash). Take a
gradual walk through the snaky pebbled path, at times high up the hills.
DAY 09 TREK, SHIVASTHAL - GAURIKUNDA (5620 m) - ZUTULPHUK (4820m.)
This is the toughest & most exciting day of parikrama. The trekking right from the beginning will be uphill till Drolma La pass (5620 m.) the highest point of the trek, here you can offer agarbatti to Lord Shiva and continue descending to the valley floor. The other side of Drolma La pass, you can have a spectacular view of Gaurikund the birth place of Lord Ganesha. The last leg of the journey is along the River Bank till Zutulphuk. We advise all our Yatri’s not to stay more than 15 – 20 minutes while in Drolma La pass for Puja ritual.
DAY 10 END TREK, THEN DRIVE TO LAKE MANASAROVAR. ( Horchu side) OR DONGPA
After breakfast trek downhill to the pick-up point near Darchen. This leg of trail trek is the easiest & flat, so you will be completing this journey within 3 to 4 hours. All the Yatri’s will be met & picked up at the finishing point of this Parikrama by our Tibetan Guide near Darchen, then drive back to Mansarovar doing the second half Parikrama of Lake Manasarovar (east side) for night halt.
DAY 11 RETURN BACK TO SAGA / DONGPA
After breakfast drive to New Dongba. One can have a last look of Mt. Kailash & lake Manasarovar.
DAY 12 RETURN BACK TO NYALAM / KATHMANDU
Stay as per iternery
DAY 13 RETURN BACK TO KATHMANDU
After breakfast drive to Zhangmu, finish immigration process cross the friendship bridge then drive back to Kathmandu. We take Lunch after crossing the border in Kodari / we stop on the way back to Kathmandu for Lunch.
DAY 14 DEPARTURE :-Transfer to international airport for your flight back home.

(E) Tips to staff & Tibet driver, personal medicine, personal travel insurance,
rescue and evacuation.
(F) Any extra expenses incurred due to unforeseen circumstances like
cancellation of flights, flood, political unrest, landslide, weather ,medical dis…and other
reasons beyond our control.
(G) Visa splitting charge and extra transport cost, in case of early returning of
some members.
(H) Extra night hotel charge in Kathmandu incase of early return from Tibet
(I) There will be extra lodge charge to the Yatri/Yatri’s not going for Parikrama if stayed back
in Darchen.
INFORMATION ON ACCOMMODATION:-----Kailash Mansarovar Yatra falls probably in the world’s most remote part. Most of the times, you would be away from modern civilization. One must be well equipped and self contained. The group shall overnight in guest house / mud houses / tented camps. For 03 Parikrama days the group will be accommodated in tent house if guest houses are not available. Use of candles inside the tents is strictly prohibited as tents and sleeping bags might catch fire due to any negligence. If your tents / sleeping bags are damaged due to misuse by candles or other incendiary articles, we will expect replacement / reimbursement of the loss from you. Therefore we suggest that you use torch light inside the tents. Guest houses/Lodges accommodation wherever available will be very simple with a cozy room (dormitory at most of the places) with common toilets. Hot water will be provided in every room only for washing face & drinking purpose by our Sherpa team.
Cencellation :-You may cancel the travel program at any point of time against paying the cancellation charge these charge are percentage of the total cost of your booked accommodation

We have also provision to transfer your trip to third party which takes no charges only if you do so before at least 10 days of your trip departure. The above cancellation policy applies to you no matter whatever in the situation you cancelled. But the above conditions do not apply if your trip cancelled by us due to our own problem.
